Events now lockdown has eased

Just a quick update on what I’ve been up to recently.

Ipswich Wedding Pianist

I’ve played my first wedding in over three months. Now that the government has eased restrictions a little, a wedding was given the green light at Ipswich Hospital chapel. The photographer, videographer, several guests and the vicar all wore masks and we all socially-distanced. I took my portable Dutchgrand piano shell with me.

It was livestreamed to family and friends all across the world. Soon after, I heard from one of the guests who took the time to message me….

Private Birthday Party in Norfolk

I also had a great time playing for a 21st birthday party. This booking was originally planned to take place at Maison Talbooth in Essex. Plans had to be changed and I was invited to play at a private residence instead. A lovely afternoon with a wonderfully friendly family. And later that evening, I received this:

Back to some kind of normality?

So it appears that we are slowly getting back to some kind of normality. Lockdown is being eased and the wedding and event industries are beginning to see the light again. If things continue to improve as they are at the moment, one thing’s for certain – 2021 is going to be a VERY busy year!
